FredCDobbs
> {quote:title=beetty wrote:}{quote} > will peyton place series ever be aired on tcm? I don't think so. TCM usually airs only movies that have shown in theaters, and only a few old TV interview shows that contain interviews with old movie stars. Hudson_Hawk
TCM, no but, because the series was based on a popular Fox movie of the 1950s, it's conceivable that it could turn up on the Fox Movie Channel.
filmlover
Well, actually, two movies (don't forget Return to Peyton Place) and the original inspiration, the novel of Peyton Place (and the sequel, Return to -- oh, you know).
PrinceSaliano
I vaguely remember an NBC daytime soap, RETURN TO PEYTON PLACE. John Hoyt played Martin Peyton. He lived upstairs in a mansion and everybody thought he was dead except Hannah, the housekeeper.
Ray Faiola
I got the first and second seasons on DVD. They're great shows. Transfers are mostly from 35mm with occasional episodes in 16mm. And some of the latter are old station prints edited for time. My wife and I are watching the series together (I remember when it was on ABC "twice weekly") and they are just about to introduce Tim O'Connor as Elliott Carson. Can't wait for George Macready to show up!!
CelluloidKid
LOL! ROFL!! WHY!?! This is "Classic Film" ...Not "Retro Tv" or "Tv Land"!!! Peyton Place is an American prime time soap opera which aired on ABC in half-hour episodes from September 15, 1964 to June 2, 1969. Maybe the "Soap" channel!!?
