BayouJack
I'm trying to find out who the actor is in this photo with Helen Twelvetrees: http://media.photobucket.com/image/%252522helen%20twelvetrees%252522/hello-sweetness/ht2.jpg I've seen him before but I don't know his name. Can anyone identify him? Thank you! Also, I hope this message isn't multi-posted. I'm having to click on links more than once to access the forum posts even though I wait for the page to load. My sincere apologies to the admin/mods and users if it happens.
Hudson_Hawk
...DOES SHE MAKE 12 SOUNDS? He resembles John Mills, but they never made a film together.
fredbaetz
It looks like an actor named Robert Ames who died in 1931 from the DT's,Delirium Tremens, going through withdrawal from alcohol.

Good job, Fred. That still is from the film Millie (1931) , with Ames and Twelvetrees.
BayouJack
Thank you! I see the two were in Millie (1931). I can't find any pictures of him other than the one with Helen. I watched the short subject, The Slippery Pearls (1931) aka The Stolen Jools, on his page at IMDb but I don't recognize him in it. Maybe he's one of the police reserves or the guy on the porch swing with Dorothy Lee? It was a very entertaining short.
BayouJack
Yes, it is entertaining. I liked Wallace Beery's opening line.
