audreyforever
Your help is greatly appreciated. I only saw the first few minutes of this film, but here's the description: It starts with a group of men from the south, I believe after the civil war is over. They are on horses riding on a path. They decide to make camp for the night. As they are setting up, one man sees a group of Calvary men approaching and they take cover. They talk with the leader of the Calvary, and he is on horseback. It is a color film, probably form the 1950's, and I saw it on TCM around 18 months ago.
FredCDobbs
I can think of a number of films that have a similar beginning. I?ve seen several in which, after the War, federal troops and ex-Rebs come in contact with each other on some trail. Sometimes they fight, and sometimes they team up to accomplish something, such as taking a herd of cows someplace, or catching some outlaws. But I can?t think of any titles right now.
