lairdfan
Do you think Film Noir is so much a part of the classic Hollywood era that contemporary Film Noir falls short? Steve Hayes puts BRICK and THE MALTESE FALCON in the same league. Do you agree? vallo
I also liked *Brick* and I think Joseph Gordon- Levitt is great in this, also see *2007?s The Lookout* I?d call the film a Neo-Noir. The dialog sounds like a 40?s noir film but it takes place in our time, not Bogart?s. It is however an interesting concept. But comparing it to *The Maltese Falcon* maybe a little far fetched. vallo
