MovieProfessor
You know, Monogram wasn't all that bad a studio. It was at least as good an operation in Hollywood as was Republic Pictures.
markbeckuaf
Great list here and in your 30's thread as well! Would love to see all these films and lots more of the Monograms! Am I wrong in that TCM has them in their library? And they have to be cheap to lease (from themselves, weird I know, but real), and unlike other libraries they have, I'm sure that no one else is airing these at all. I'd love to see more of them! Ray Faiola
Here are a bunch of Monograms (non-horror or Gorcey pictures) that I have in 16mm: LURE OF THE ISLANDS MYSTERY OF THE 13TH GUEST NO ESCAPE WINGS OVER THE PACIFIC MELODY PARADE CAMPUS RHYTHM NEARLY EIGHTEEN RHYTHM PARADE SILVER SKATES SARONG GIRL THE SULTAN'S DAUGHTER CALL OF THE JUNGLE LADY LET'S DANCE FASHION MODEL SUNBONNET SUE SWEETHEART OF SIGMA CHI SUSPENSE SWING PARADE OF 1946 RHYTHM INN Most are very lively affairs. NO ESCAPE is a terrific anti-Nazi picture with Carradine and Dean Jagger. There are a lot of gems waiting to be dusted off in the Monogram canon. yanceycravat
Count me in on this one too! These are the kind of movies I' m more likely to tune in to. How about TCM? Yancey
