lavenderblue19
Of course *Laura* . the first scene I described was Vincent Price going into the kitchen and eating a chicken liver! Next was Clifton Webb, checking up on Laura after she stood him up.He could see Laura and Jacoby together. The last was Clifton having an epileptic seizure when he saw Laura was alive. gummball
One of my favorite film noirs. My friend's mother went to school with Gene Tierney, she was a knockout even in highschool. I will open up the thread-time to rewatch "Laura" again it has been too long since last viewing.

"Level 5 -- Subway muggers, aggressive panhandlers, book critics. Level 6 -- Right-wing extremists, serial killers, lawyers who appear on television. Level 7 -- The Media. Sorry, that floor is all filled up. Level 8 -- Escaped war criminals, TV evangelists, the NRA. Lowest level. Everybody off." Film?

He explains his crew has bailed out - all but one who lies dead next to him. His chute is damaged and he's going to bail out anyway as opposed to dying in the fiery crash. Kid Dabb
We see the clouds part and the British pilot is seen lying on a damp beach. The surf is a hundred yards away. He has no recollection and assumes he has died and is in the afterlife but discovers he is still alive. The guide sent to escort him to the 'other world' could not locate him in the heavy fog. He sheds his gear and jacket as he begins walking.. he meets the woman who was on the radio with him in the plane as she is cycling home from work. They fall in love.
