butterscotchgreer
Good afternoon Larry! Oh yeah! My presence seems to clear the room though! Don't be silly! Frank has more lives than an old alley cat. I have to admire that! Unfortunately for him....that just means he has to put up with us girls even more. heehee! Well some hot tea sounds good right now. I am snowed in and it's FREEZIN' outside! This is our second big storm this winter. It's crazy. A lot of times we don't get but a dusting of snow all season. At least you people get snow!!! Austin doesn't get any....earlier this winter, we had one day where it snowed very lightly for a couple hours and it all melted immediately as it hit the ground and the city had a panic attack...it was quite amusing. heehee! Last night it was 30 degrees and for a Texan, that's frostbite! heehee! I was at a birthday party and when I came out to my car, it was covered with frost. I was like a kid at Christmas. I thought it was the prettiest thing. heehee! I can't wait for summer, so I can complain about the heat! They have already closed my work Monday so if the power holds out, I'll be around more. A little mini-vacation. One thing about living in Richmond. The whole city shuts down with just a little snow so with all this accumulation the whole place is paralyzed! Sounds familiar! heehee! How hot does it get there during the summer? This is how I felt earlier today: Cute!....hey Frankie lied to me! He said you can't see the different between Lassie and Greer! heehee! CineMaven
"We got a little over 13 inches here. I generally subscribe to the Oscar Levant theory of exercise, so shoveling snow is not something I relish..." - < the mad-hatted molo man > Yeeesh!!! Oh man, I'm sorry to hear about all that snow. I don't know if la Grahame will warm you up in those clips...but I can surely send you some laughs. You'll get a DVD of my exploits in NYC in a coupla days. Hey...and don't bury my DVD in your snow drifts or use it as a snow board, ya hear?!

lzcutter
Bronxie, Glad to see that Joan Crawford's ghost was unable to do her evil bidding on you! We've had good weather here in the City of Angels but they say the rains are returning on Tuesday. Two weeks ago it rained 6 days straight. According to the weatherman, it may do it again. Hey Mighty Mo! Be sure to have Glo give you a nice rub down after drawing a hot bath and pouring you some schnapps. Your hard work at Molo Manor should be rewarded. Ha!!! I'm sure she and Franchot are now "Happy Together". Get it? Get it? LOL > > We've had good weather here in the City of Angels but they say the rains are returning on Tuesday. I originally wanted to live on Catalina Island, but moved to L.A. instead. I enjoyed living there more than I did San Francisco. > > Two weeks ago it rained 6 days straight. It's the end of the world. I just hope Tippi Hedren doesn't come to town. > > Hey Mighty Mo! > > Be sure to have Glo give you a nice rub down after drawing a hot bath and pouring you some schnapps. > > Your hard work at Molo Manor should be rewarded. Although I'm betting Tippi at 80 years old probably still looks good.* That she does. We saw her in person at the TCM sponsored *The Birds* screening last year. But what man could resist the charms of our Bronxgirl? Hey, Rod, don't trample Tippi too hard on your rush to Bronxie side!

lzcutter
*Do you happen to know if there are any photos of Miss Hedren at that event on the TCM website, or anywhere else you know online?* I have no idea. I don't know if TCM had a professional photographer at the event. If they did, we didn't see one. We did get to see Ms. Hedrin up close though (she stopped by our table in the bar area for a few minutes after the movie) and there were no photographers around. JackFavell
I saw Tippi in New York a few years back, I was about 10 feet away, and I gotta say she looked killer! She was fantastic looking, without seeming artificial. Rod was nowhere to be seen. sigh. Edited by: JackFavell on Feb 1, 2010 10:30 AM

butterscotchgreer
The fabulous Tippi will always be beautiful until the day she dies. I think it's utterly impossible for her to age badly.

HollywoodGolightly
Just a lucky find. Do you know the gentleman standing left of Tippi? I believe he's a VP or something.
sineaste
No, I believe that's Ben Mankiewicz's stunt double.

lzcutter
*He's in those segments?* Yes, really. There have been three or four of them done over the last couple of years. Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Musso and Frank's, The Formosa are the three that come most readily to mind. I would have thought you would have watched them as they all deal with movie history here in the City of Angels. He and Ben are good buddies from the looks of those segments.
