Am I thinking of the right guy. Like a wolverine. Ever see a wolverine on film get angry. Lions run away from them, not because they are afraid, but because they just can't stand all that opposing energy, all that unrelenting hustle and bustle. Pesky little creatures, those wolverines. I can see Pat rescuing someone, he's fearless. Hee hee! A wolverine! Pat would love that, I think. He'd save you then chuck you under the chin and say, "It's alright, kid." I'm a guy, and a nasty ole pirate to boot. I'm supposed to take care of myself. No one to rescue. I think pirates somewhere deep would like to be rescued. But not in the Pat O'Brien mode. We pirates are too macho for that. .... //

He even scares me and I'm not supposed to be scared. But yes, it would be fun. We treat damsels very well on my ship. We even have a movie theater on board. How about that? When you are escorted on board, we'll play the theme to GWTW for you. If Pat O'Bien tries to rescue you, there will be a major battle, I'm sure. I may have to hire Tor Johnson. While the battle is on, we will in the theater watching "Dr Bull" or "Peter Ibbotson" . Life is good. We've never captured a Goddess before, hee hee). ////// ////
MissGoddess
Has anyone here seen I, Jane Doe? I think it would be a good watch for many here at TCM. Scott said it was on Martin Scorsese's favorite films list but I had never heard of it. A little Republic gem starring Vera "Hruba" Ralston and everybody's "other man", John Carroll. Ruth Hussey, reunited with John from The Philadelphia Story, has a strong role.

My primary sources besides TcM are : Netlix discs and streaming ; The Criterion Channel ; or You tube. I found a link to what I thought was the movie .. but another move came on instead. ☹️ I could check on eBay, sometimes you can get DVD for cheap. This one sounds kind of rare ; I ne'er have heard 'o it neither. ///
