lococardinal
You know that segment on TCM where someone draws an actor in neon or whatever it is? Who would you draw and from what movie and scene? I would draw Bogart from Treasure Of The Sierra Madre where Bogey challenges Holt to stay awake as long as him. I would describe him as an actor who's finally gotten away from the dark hard-edged good guy who through the years of penting it up has been allowed to release a villainous character, as from his prior movies who has now also gone insane. No romance. No cigarette. Completely ungroomed and unleashed.
therealfuster
Jack Holt. The mentioning of Tim Holt in your post about the B. Traven tale, reminded me of what a great character actor he was, and how Jack's profile was the inspiration for the profile of comic strip character, Dick Tracy. Either that, or I'd draw Toby Wing, or Eric Blore..who were also great deep background additions to films.
bggalaxy
When this was first posted in August I could not think of one. Noe that it is up again, this came to mind: Irene Dunne as Mama in "I Remember Mama" sitting at the kitchen table "It good, we don't have to go to the bank"
therealfuster
Ohmigosh, Oscar Homolka was so funny in that film. Remember how he scared all the children, even Barbara Bel Geddes. I think she has a different nose in that film, than she did as Miss Ellie. Yes, the topic of nose jobs in Hollywood could fill a book.
loveoldmovies04
lococardinal, I really like yours alot.. I think I would draw greer garson in Random Harvest she plays such a heart breaking role in that movie and you can just see the pain on her face and see how badly it hurts her because she loves him so much.. if I didnt pick here I would pick to draw vivien leigh in Waterloo Bridge that is another dramatic role and she was so beautiful and she was just awsome in it. ---phoebe
