Johnny Got His Gun.

Recommended Posts

I was Lucky enough to catch this Movie on TCM last week. It was on pretty Late and I was Entranced By it. Having thoroughly enjoyed the Entire Movie , I was left Unfulfilled because I could not read the Climatic Message that was written on the Screen at the very End. Probably A small footnote as to What followed afterward. Can Anyone Help me find out just what was said on that Notation . ? TURNER CLASSIC MOVIE Lover , Joseph.

The "Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori" at the end of the film means, "It is sweet and proper to die for one's country."

The film Johnny Got His Gun ends with this saying, along with casualty statistics since World War I.
