movielehm
I just like old classics like the Universal Monster ones and Hammer films. I did get to see House of Wax last year with Vincent Price and that was good. It just seems the movies from the 30s to the early 70s fascinate me. A lot of the stuff had to be done by hand unlike today's movies where computers play a big part.
memlps
I just wish, wish, wish, that TCM would show The Old Dark House. I've never seen it and would love to.

memlps
I've thought about going to Amazon or Netflix, but I just really like the Christmas like feeling when one of my favorites or want-to-see movies pop up on TCM. It's childish, I know, but I'll give it another little while.
memlps
By the way, a musical/horror month? Someone has a sense of humor.
eddie71664
October, one of my favorite times of the year. All of the old horror movies really keeps me close to the tube. Like you MaryLou I remember being scared to daeth watching some of these movies for the first time and seeing them now is more of a fond memory than a thrill. But I'll take it. classicsfan1119
Eddie...interesting, isn't it, that so many of us love all the Classics that TCM airs not only because they are honestly Classics but because we have such "fond memories" concerning them. Thanks for the Memories, TCM! :)ML
