What are your Top 10 Movies?

I'm such a fan of the movies that I keep a list of my "100 Favorite". Here are my Top 10 all-time favorite (In order): 1) The 007 Collection 2) The Shawshank Redemption 3) Unforgiven 4) Dances With Wolves 5) Braveheart 6) Jaws 7) Superman: The Movie 8) Rocky 9) One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest 10) Planet of the Apes

 

I'm posting this thread because I like to see other fans lists of their favorite movies.

Is that a movie? Never heard of it. Anyway my 10 favorite movies are: 1) The Die Hard Collection; 2) The Rocky Collection; 3) The Godzilla Collection; 4) The Batman Collection; 5)The Night of the Living Dead Collection; 6) The Terminator Collection; 7) The Nightmare on Elm Street Collection; 8) The Halloween Collection; 9) The Alien Collection; 10) The Titanic Collection.

1- The Seachers

2- The Roaring 20's

3- Maltese Falcon

4- Casablanca

5- She Wore a Yellow Ribbon

6- The Third Man

7- The Treasure of the Sierra Madre

8- The Killing

9- Sullivans Travels or The Lady Eve or The Palm Beach Story or The Miracle of Morgans Creek

10- Gone with the Wind

These can and will change at times, but for now these will do.......

Because I like "Topkapi" better than "Riffifi". But _above all else_ because of *Peter Ustinov*.

I have FOUR Martin Scorsese movies in my 100 Favorites list but "Goodfellas" isn't one of them. It's a little too violent a film for my taste. For whatever reason I'm just not a fan of movies about the mob. Which is one of the reasons I never cared for "The Godfather" either.

 

I believe "Dances With Wolves" is historically important because it shows some of what the white people's (which includes myself) LEGACY is when concerning our treatment of the native americans of this country.
