TopBilled
THE FURIES (1950) on Hulu. It's been several years since I'd seen it. Stanwyck and Dame Judith Anderson are superb.
FrankieAnne
THE STAR with Bette Davis on TCM. One of my favorites. I love seeing a young Natalie Wood in this one.

TopBilled
I just watched WYOMING MAIL on YouTube. Someone uploaded a bunch of great Universal westerns. Now I'm starting SASKATCHEWAN which features Alan Ladd & Shelley Winters. A pairing you don't see everyday.

NickAndNora34
The Long, Long Trailer, starring Lucy and Desi. I'm a huge fan of their tv show, I Love Lucy (for anyone having a mental block lol), and decided to give this one a try. I'm super tired though from a 2-show day today so I'm thinking I'll have to wait for tomorrow to finish it.

TopBilled
An interesting 2011 Australian film called THE EYE OF THE STORM. It stars Charlotte Rampling and Judy Davis as a dying mother and her troubled daughter. It can be streamed on Hulu.
NickAndNora34
Walk on the Wild Side (1962): starring Jane Fonda, Capucine, Anne Baxter, & Barbara Stanwyck. I have never heard of this film, but on the DVD case, there's an inscription that reads "This is an adult picture." So I guess I'm in for a treat.

Speedy, when NickandNora34 mentioned that movie I almost posted something like, uh I think I know someone around here who really likes that one ... but I didn't. I was gracious and let you can speak for yourself.
Surrealistic_Pillow
A really innocuous Sandra Dee film from 1967: "Doctor, You've Got To Be Kidding!" co-starring George Hamilton, Bill Bixby and....Celeste Holm (!) It should really be re-titled: "Really, What Were They Thinking?!?!" LOL!

JamesJazGuitar
And ...? Have to admit I wondered the same thing (e.g. did they like Born Yesterday). The first time I saw the film I didn't like it much but that was before I 'got' what Holiday was all about. On subsequent viewings I 'got it' and became of fan of hers as well as this film. (but I'm still on the fence about the casting of Holden).
NickAndNora34
The Postman Always Rings Twice (remake) starring Jack Nicholson and one of my favorites, Jessica Lange. Recently went to the library and will proceed to watch The Razor's Edge, Magnificent Obsession, The Big Circus, It's Always Fair Weather, Nora Prentiss, Grand Hotel, The Jazz Singer, Gold Diggers of 1935, and a George Peppard picture entitled "The Carpetbaggers." Finally have some free time to work my way through my fairly extensive movie watchlist.

This film has been living on my DVR for months now. I like It's Always Fair Weather, but I can't help but feel a bit of sadness when I watch it. It's a little depressing. Lol. speedracer5
I decided that tonight would be pizza and cartoon night. Right now, while waiting for my pizza to arrive, I am watching The Little Mermaid ! I saw this movie when it first came out in 1989 when I was 5!
