GARBO BETTER IN SILENTS OR SOUND

It's not easy to decide. "Anna Christie" is among my favorites (TCM is showing the German :( version May 2nd) as is "Ninotchka" (of course), but I also love "Flesh and the Devil", "The Temptress" and other silents from her. I may have to lean towards the talkies for one reason, she had such a wonderful, unique voice.

I prefer the Silent Garbo myself. There are only about three or four of her sound films that I really like all that much. *THE SINGLE STANDARD* is my favorite among her Silents. Here are a couple nice photos. I have not posted here.

Why thank you! :)

This is a great forum, I've long been a fan of classic films and there aren't that many people that I know that share this interest (especially in silent films). There are so many great opinions, ideas, photo's etc. posted on these boards. Keep it up guys!
