*In case you never knew there was a feature-film version of the classic sitcom, that's because it never was released. Three first-season television episodes were re-edited and augmented with new scenes to create a flowing story ... but Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz ultimately decided to hold onto it at the time, so as not to compete with their 1953 movie "The Long, Long Trailer."*

Of course, William Frawley and Vivian Vance also are on hand as Fred and Ethel Mertz. Plenty of extras are included, such as a "Lucy"-centric Emmy ceremony and a special opening created for the series' premiere. *** (Not rated)

*An encore for the Ricardos*

*A film incorporating ?I Love Lucy? episodes and added footage gets its own disc*.
