Pangy--you've got it! Adela Rogers St. Johns and it was, of course, *A Free Soul*.

By the way, don't you think they should do an evening or a weekend of Franklin Pangborn movies. I don't think there is anyone who doesn't not appreciate him. He was fantastic in *Now, Voyager*.

That is a great idea! for Franklin and anyone who hasn't seen the silent picture Exit Smiling with Beatrice Lillie, it costars Mr. Pangborn and I highly recommend it. It comes on Sunday, January 29, 2012. Something to look forward to.

OK, I'll take it.

This Oscar winner says that his dance performance in that film is his favorite. However, in another film he also dances and he's said that besides the Oscar winning one, this is his other favorite routine. Can you name him, film and his non Oscar winning dance and song routine that he loved. ???

I have the tape of West Point Story with RO's intro and outro. According to RO, in Cagney's autobiography, he writes that next to one routine that he did in Yankee Doodle Dandy , "It Could Only Happen In Brooklyn" was his favorite dance routine and he felt he had done his best dancing to this song.

So, West Point Story is the film and "It Could Only Happen In Brooklyn" is the correct answer.Your thread.
