FranklinPangborn
Madonna - Dick Tracy Reds - Diane Keaton Shampoo - Julie Christie Bugsy - Anette Benning Promise He Anything - Leslie Caron $ - Goldie Hawn Bonnie & Clyde - Faye Dunaway are these correct?
DownGoesFrazier
Hawn and Dunaway are incorrect. They were never girlfriends. You are missing one girlfriend, and remember, multiple movies with one girlfriend count as more than one.
lavenderblue19
The most obvious of course is Natalie Wood - that was said to have broken up Natalie and Robert Wagner - *Splendor In the Grass* don't know if it's true, I've read that Beatty and Vivien Leigh had an affair- *Roman Spring Of Mrs. Stone*
DownGoesFrazier
Wood was never a girlfriend "for the record". No affair with Leigh. You are still missing one girlfriend who co-starred with him, and Christie and Bening were in more than one film with him. (I just completed a Beatty bio, so I am feeling my oats)
lavenderblue19
What bio are you reading? Who wrote it? I've read countless times Beatty and Wood were an item.
DownGoesFrazier
I didn't say they weren't an item. But it was clandestine. The book is called "Star--how WB seduced America", by Peter Biskind.----Also, the parameters of the question were that Beatty had a say in the casting. Beatty had no say in the casting of SPLENDOR. He's lucky he got the role himself. Edited by: finance on Dec 29, 2011 4:13 PM
lavenderblue19
Without research I doubt anyone here knows offhand what films Beatty had a say in casting. I've told you I can't do research, computer is barely functioning. Benning and Beatty were also in *Bugsy* Christie and Beatty were in *Shampoo* , *McCabe and Mrs. Miller* and *Heaven Can Wait*
DownGoesFrazier
Franklin mentioned BUGSY. He was in ANOTHER film with Bening. Correct on Christie.
lavenderblue19
*Love Affair*
DownGoesFrazier
OK. Now the only missing one is Isabelle Adjani, with whom WB had a short fling, and whom he recruited for ISHTAR. Since Franklin did the majority of heavy lifting on this one, he gets the thread. If not Franklin, then Lavender.

DownGoesFrazier
These two actors, who many think of as the same "type", and who were competitors for many roles, disliked one another, were never in a film together, and had nothing to do with one another. Names?
cujas
This is a broad question-- Can you narrow it down to an era or a genre, maybe?
Aranxa
Olivia de Havilland and Joan Fontaine?
DownGoesFrazier
Not Joan and Olivia. It's the other sex, and there is no relation between them.
allaboutlana
I'll take a stab at it. Who are Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. and Errol Flynn? (When I started this thread, I did ask that the answers be in the form of a question, like the show, and to be different from the other threads, but since no one has ever really done it from day one, I haven't said much about it.) DownGoesFrazier
Not the ones. These two actors were later
