Countess DeLave gave me an idea on the Challenges Thread.

Do you love 'big hair'? Or does it just plain bother you like wet socks? Who has the best 'big hair' of all time?

Who has the best bouffant in Hollywood today? Should 'big hair' stay in Dallas?

I think Liz Taylor at any award show she attended and Raquel Welch in *Bandolero* come pretty close to the Utopia of Big Hair.

"It's feathered, not ratted."

"Whatever you call it, it's a hair-don't."{quote}

{quote:}"Look at your hair. All ratted up like a teenage Jezebel."

"But Miss Edna. Tracy's "flamboyant flip" is all the rage. Even Mrs. Kennedy, our First Lady, rats her hair."

"But Tracy's no First Lady is she? No siree. She is a... hairhopper!"{quote}

{quote:}"That girl's got roaches in her hair!"

"Roaches? Our little Tracy's a clean teen!"

"There's no bugs on our baby!"{quote}

Brigette Bardot has my dream big hair, tousled, sexy, adorable, yet still somehow chic.

I'm trying to think of a way to look like her in time for my hopeful first visit to the South of France next year.

I also adore Natalie's lush locks:

cinemafan helped by telling me to place a 1 before and after the links, which I did, and a photo came out when I sent it to myself in a PM, but trying it again on this thread, it didn't. I'm obviously doing something wrong.

One of my favorites is Viveca Lindfors' totally inappropriate tower o' hair in "King of Kings".It's supposed to be a period piece and there she is in all her 1960's glory. Sorry I can't post a picture.

This was the first thing that popped into my head when I read this thread...the hair stylist must have went through cases of Aqua Velvet....and yes, my favorite bad movie of all time!

Does Elvis ever qualify as having big hair? In some films his "ramp" is rather higher than in others.

It's not a "1," it's a "!." And you don't use the code "img src=" when using !. That's the way it works in this forum for some reason.
