THE BIG HAIR THREAD....

Recommended Posts

*Galaxy Quest* ROCKS! One of my favorites. Love Alan Rickman and Enrico Colantoni and Tony Shaloub.

Justin Long in an early role is fun, too.

Tim Allen and Signourey Weaver are a hoot, too.

That movie tickles me so much.

And I agree, it's got a great cast, with Tony Shalhoub as a standout for me. Enrico is such a funny mix of pathos and goofball. Justin Long is a riot. The idea that the fate of the world hangs on whether a teenage trekkie has to take the garbage out makes me laugh every time!

For Deborah Kerr, sometimes her locks were kept closely cropped like in *Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison*, and *An Affair to Remember*...sometimes they weren't red, but blonde or dark brown, but however her 'do' was done, she was one classy gal and a great actress...

Her dress, her hair, her accessories were perfect in this image...

I have to say, she got much better looking and had much bigger hair in *Marie Antoinette* today - she was dazzlingly gorgeous.

It doesn't hurt to have the entire studio at your beck and call, but still... she definitely had something that makes you want to look at her. I thought she was quite good, less mannered and easier to empathize with in M.A. than in some of her other roles. She really turned it on in this one.

I apologize if these have been posted before. The last one doesn't have big hair, but it does have Ty and it was too gorgeous not to post...

JackF - that's some *BIG* hair! And for the record, Robert Morley did so well in this movie - I really felt for his character - it's movies like this that make me run to the library for history books and biographies.
