DownGoesFrazier
These 2 actresses co-starred in a major classic film. One of the 2 actresses played a character with the same last name as the actual last name of the other actress. Film? the 2 actresses? the character's name? allaboutlana
I?ll ask the question again with a little more information, and then I won?t provide another clue without a guess. What tv actress and star of a long-running nighttime soap opera and who was a model at the time, has her legs shown in the publicity poster of ?The Graduate,? in place of Anne Bancroft? LonesomePolecat
Wow, I got one right! (it was only because of the great clues) I have two questions in mind so I'll ask both: One man introduced, among other songs, two incredibly classic Disney tunes and one incredibly classic MGM song, all before the US entered WWII. Name the guy and the three songs. Bonus question: which version of A Christmas Carol has the same actor playing both Tiny Tim AND The Ghost of Christmas Present? LonesomePolecat
Clue: One of these disney classics won Best Song. The other was from the movie that saved the studio. And the third became a title of a hit movie.
mudskipper
I think it's Cliff Edwards (Ukulele Ike). He sang "When you Wish Upon A Star" from Pinocchio", winning the award. He also sang "When I See An Elephant Fly" from "Dumbo" in Oct, 1941...and he sang "Singin' In The Rain" in 1929, later on becoming the title of a movie. Another song that became a movie title was "I'll See You In My Dreams", the biography of Gus Khan...
LonesomePolecat
Very good, Mudskipper! And the answer to my bonus question. Q: Name the only film version of A Chrstimas Carol in which the same actor plays both Tiny Tim and THe Ghost of Christmas Past A: A Muppet Christmas Carol, played by Jerry Nelson You're up, Mudskipper! mudskipper
Thanks... Next: Who was nominated for a Best Actor Oscar for playing a child molester in a movie ? ...also, name the film title.
mudskipper
Not Kevin Bacon and not "The Woodsman"....The star in this movie was nominated for a Best Actor Oscar more than 40 years before "The Woodsman". The same year this film was made, he starred with John Wayne in a western. He starred in a great comedy film with multiple foreign actors fours later at the peak of his career, then his star gradually dimmed....
mudskipper
Clue: The actor played the ill-fated Rev. Jim Johnson in Guyana. He also fought giant mutated rabbits in one of his movies...
