Edythevanhopper
After a serious car accident, this star lost teeth and was unable to speak her/his lines. This actor who had a talent for it, spoke lines in the film which most say was undetectable. Who lost the teeth & who spoke the lines?
flashback42
Not sure of the background of the disability, but I know that Rich Little voiced David Niven in *Curse of the Pink Panther.* That it?
Edythevanhopper
I can't think of an actor whos voice is as recognizable as this one..."it's the stuff dreams are made of". With that, can you come up with both of the men?

lavenderblue19
Thanks. Right now lavender seems to be working. I hope it stays this way. Next: This actor unfortunately passed away before completing this film. Footage from another film that he was in had to be used in order to complete the film. Name the actor and the 2 films ??? lavenderblue19
Both films were early '50's films.
Edythevanhopper
Wild guess, John Garfield in He Ran All the Way and Under My Skin?
lavenderblue19
Sorry Edythe. I'm thinking of someone else. This actor was at one time married to a very famous movie actress.
FanofCary
I believe that it is Robert Walker. He died while making My Son John and they used shots from Hitchcock's Strangers on a Train. Walker was married to (and diveroced from) Jennifer Jones.
rosehips2012
Absolutely Correct. Robert Walker passed away before completing the last scenes for *My Son John* .The scene where Bruno s dying from *Strangers On A Train* was used for the dying scene in the film. Yes Mr. Walker was married to Jennifer Jones and yes they divorced. Good work, Fanof Cary. It's your turn to post a question.
FanofCary
Thanks. I'm going to be away for a while, so I'll leave the thread open for someone else to pose a question. FOC
