Edythevanhopper
A film from the 50s featured a famous actor doing an 18 minute monologue. He demanded noone look at him during that time. The film was a remake of an earlier version of a twist on an actual murder. Name the film and the actor ??

Edythevanhopper
Good work. There's a lot about him behind the scenes of that film....something about him storming off the set and some money problem as well. Your thread.

flashback42
Oops; forgot about this one....BTW, Sixes, I have a history with the movie you clued up. I used Foxes of Harrow , oh, maybe 3 years ago, on a thread that isn't around any more. "10 clues for movie" or something like that. I got into several clues, and the player that answered it did so on the basis of having read the Frank Yerby novel, not on having seen the movie. And I think it was answered by "The Lady Eve", who has since become a Morlock. Anyway, next title. 1950s. Color. Railroad building. Good brother and a badun, opposite sides of the Law. flashback42
The two leads in this movie had previously played the same role in a popular movie that got remade. The title was partly changed for the remake. Both films -- original and remake -- had the same director.

Edythevanhopper
Wayne Morris is one that is regarded as a war hero. He was in Brother Rat with Eddie Albert and a sequel called Brother Rat and A Baby ?? PS Caught the Foxes of Harrow last night and actually made it to the end. Thanks for your recommendation. flashback42
Caught Foxes this morning myself. Third viewing. Enjoyed. Not the Wayne Morris film. The good sibling, a railroad detective, has a blot on his record. He once gave his outlaw brother his own horse, allowing an escape. He's still trying to live that down.
