Kid Dabb
Thank you, Liam This film produced bits of juvenile merchandise including a Dell comic book, a paper-doll collection, an LP recording, an illustrated Little Golden Book, and a character doll. Considered this major studio's best film ever of this type, a remake from the book, this didn't do well at the box office, bringing in less than half of what was expected. Women and girls went to see it, men stayed away. Presumably due to it's title.

Kid Dabb
Not the right film, Edythe, but this major studio also did an 'Alice in Wonderland' film. The actress won an Academy Juvenile Award for our current film in question; her first of six (films) with this studio. Based on a turn-of-the-century novel.
