January's schedule is finally up:

http://turnerclassicmovies.com/Schedule/Print/0,,1-2005|0|,00.html

And it includes Stage Door, Greed, The Diary of Anne Frank, The Human Comedy, Kind Hearts and Coronets, The Lavender Hill Mob, The Ladykillers, Peyton Place, and what looks to be more silents and foreign films than usual.

THANKS tcmprogrammer and staff!!!

In regards to the January schedule I notice TCM is premiering the very funny and warm DEVIL AND MISS JONES. This 1941 film is about a department store owner who takes job in his own store to spy on his employees. The ever wonderful Jean Arthur stars with Charles Coburn. This film has been off TV for a long time!

That's a good question, though one for tcmprogrammer to answer, not me. I notice that after the description for Greed, it says 239 minutes (four hours). However, there is a movie (Dames) inserted between 6 AM and 10 AM at 8:15 AM. I would suspect that Dames will not be shown, but who knows?

Thank you TCM!!!!!!!

After reading this thread (and responding), it made me think to look at the December schedule to see if "Christmas in Connecticut" - one of my all time favorites was playing on Christmas Eve, and I'm very happy to say that it is - Thank you again TCM - it's like getting an early Christmas present from you guys, because I really look forward to watching the Christmas films TCM plays on Christmas Eve - and I'm so glad my favorite one will be on, and at 8pm - thankfully it's not at 3am. When Christmas rolls around I'll remind everyone to watch this great movie.

Hmmm, February's schedule is still not up. Hopefully it will be soon.

In any case, I wanted to update an earlier post I made about Peyton Place. Evidently, it is on BEFORE January (on December 9 @ 8 PM ET) when it will be making its TCM premiere. Can't wait to see what Robert Osborne has to say about it!

Also, The Diary of Anne Frank is actually premiering on TCM in December (not January) at 8 PM ET on the 21st. Ditto!

Path, the words to a song come up about the schedules for months still up to three months away: "Slow down, you're moving too fast! Gotta make the moment last!" :) We're not even out of November yet!

I know that you must have a valid reason for needing to be three months down the road...care to share it with me? I'm just "Feeling Groovy". :)ML

ML, I agree ... sometimes I've gotta slow down;-)

However, I make several requests each month for movies I've yet to see that I would very much like to (all of which are in TCM's library!) via the "Suggest a Movie" link. And, I guess I'm just a little impatient sometimes waiting to see if my request was answered.

The March, 2005 schedule is now available at:

http://www.turnerclassicmovies.com/Schedule/Print/0,,03-2005|0|,00.html

After a quick browse, I noticed three films I've yet to see that I've been hoping they'd show:

Scarface (1932) with Paul Muni, Desk Set, It's a Wonderful World

and I'm sure there are more too. Thanks tcmprogrammer and staff!

The April schedule has been posted:

http://turnerclassicmovies.com/Schedule/Print/0,,04-2005|0|,00.html

and it's comedy month. For example, April 1st is Laurel & Hardy day (no foolin'), plus there's a Charley Chase/Fatty Arbuckle/Harold Lloyd day, a Marx Brothers day, a Charlie Chaplin/Buster Keaton day, a Wally Brown/Abbott & Costello day, and more (Dean & Lewis, Red Skelton, Jack Benny, etc.).

Additionally, I saw a lot of Bette Davis & Errol Flynn films on the schedule, and The Fugitive (recently preempted) was rescheduled too. Thanks tcmprogrammer!

Death Takes A Holiday??????????? OH, happy, happy, joy, joy.

Death was never sexier.:)

path, am I doing something wrong? I can't seem to show any films beyond Jan. 26 in your Classic Film Guide. I now depend on you, you understand. I have to consult two different documents before I can decide what to tape, but it's worth it! Thanks.

June's schedule has been posted, and it's AWESOME! Thanks tcmprogrammer and staff! A lot of things we've been asking for recently including: a day of Philo Vance films, The Mouthpiece (1932) with Warren William, The More the Merrier (1943), possibly both ending when they air Idiot's Delight (1939), two versions of The Big Sleep (1946), another in the Falcon series, Becky Sharp (1935), and Min and Bill (1930)!!!
