He won an Oscar in the 50's for the film Marty, playing a man who finds love late in life, after he's pretty much given up ever finding Ms Right. Most recently he's been the voice of Mermaid Man on the kid's cartoon Spongebob Squarepants. (BTW the voice of Barnacle Boy is Tim Conway, best known from his work on the Carol Burnett Show in the 70's and 80's)
