This month Turner Classic Movies celebrates the career of actress Vivien Leigh by broadcasting 13 of her movies and two documentaries. The film that gave her one of the great roles of all time, ?Gone with the Wind,? airs Tuesday at 8 p.m.

*Leigh made only nine movies after ?Gone with the Wind? and, like her co-star, Clark Gable, died tragically early.*

Since the 1960s, when both Leigh and Gable died, all but one of the actors with major roles in "Gone with the Wind" have passed on. The latest loss was Cammie King Conlon, who played Scarlett and Rhett?s daughter Bonnie Blue Butler.

*_Here?s who is still living, and who is gone_.*

*_Still with us_:*

*Olivia de Havilland*: Joan Fontaine?s elder sister, de Havilland played the long-suffering Melanie Wilkes. She emigrated to Paris in the 1950s, and this month was awarded that country?s highest cultural accolade, the Legion of Honor. She is 94.

*Ann Rutherford*: Her minor role as Scarlett?s younger sister Carreen has kept Rutherford busy at ?Gone with the Wind? gatherings, including one at the Road to Tara Museum in Jonesboro and another last year at the Gone with the Wind Museum in Marietta. "We have a replica of one of dresses she wore, and (several years ago) she came and opened our exhibit," said Megan Drew, of the Road to Tara.

Greg Giese, Mickey Kuhn and Patrick Curtis:

It?s not surprising that actors who played children in GWTW are still around. Kuhn served as the young Beau Wilkes and Giese and Curtis played Beau as a baby (Giese was 11 days old at the time). All three have visited the Marietta museum.

*_Gone with the Wind_:*

*Clark Gable*: The dashing Rhett Butler, died in 1960, at age 59, of a heart attack.

*Vivian Leigh*: A personification of Scarlett, she also starred in ?A Streetcar Named Desire?; Leigh died in 1967, at age 53, from tuberculosis.

*Butterfly McQueen*: The Augusta, Ga., native who played the indelible Prissy died in 1995 at age 84.

*Cammie King Conlon*: Her ill-fated Bonnie Blue perishes after falling from a pony. On Sept. 1, Conlon, 76, died of lung cancer in Fort Bragg, Calif.

*Fred Crane*: Another long-lived GWTW alumnus, Crane -- who played Brent Tarleton, one of Scarlett's suitors -- died in 2008 at age 90. His colleague George Reeves, played Brent's twin, Stuart Tarleton, but was best known for his role as Superman on television. Reeves died in 1959, an apparent suicide.

In the movie isn't Bonnie Blue Butler shown as a baby also? I only ask because many decades ago a co-worker told me their brother was Bonnie Blue Butler as a baby. They said that a boy was used to play the baby girl since at that age no one would notice the gender.

I don't know if they were pulling my leg or not OR maybe their brother was one of the other babies? The co-worker did mention that they got to go to the annual GWTW parties and that he had meet De Havilland et all.
