Jo-AnnC
I just love the fact that Alec Baldwin joined Robert on the Essentials. Think the two together are fabulous.

MilesArcher
I would like to see them do some double features of "related" movies, such as "Vertigo" followed by "High Anxiety" or "Casablanca" followed by "Play It Again, Sam".
Jayo
Dominick - There've been 2 versions of "My Man Godfrey": which do you want shown? Frankly, I think that TCM should have as a Theme of the Month movie originals and their remakes. Any suggestions as to which pairs of titles should be included? And it's not necessary to limit yourself to literary and stage works made multiple times.
Dominick
I want the orignal 1936 version.
Jayo
Yes, it's adorable (the 1936 "My Man Godfrey"). Carole Lombard and William Powell were quite a pair. I've seen it twice. The first time is the best.

I would like to see some rarer old films get the ESSENTIAL treatment.
LoveFilmNoir
infinite1, do you mean a film that should be an essential for one reason or another, but due to who owns the rights, or it being overshadowed by the "popular" pics, most probably never even seen it let alone heard of it? If your answer to this is yes than I agree.
