What Do They Have in Common?

Recommended Posts

Good one, Edythe. Yes, they all were married to Charlton Heston on the screen. He and Ava were married in "Earthquake". (Now that I think of it, she may have been his ex-wife. If so, I apologize.)

Thanks Terrence! We'll see if we continue this thread.

Next:  Erroll Flynn

          John Wayne

          Harry Morgan

          Martin Sheen

They all played Civil War generals.  Errol Flynn played General Custer in "They Died With Their Boots On".  Martin Sheen played Robert E. Lee in "Gettysburg".  John Wayne and Harry Morgan both were in "How The West Was Won".  Wayne played General Sherman and Morgan played General U.S. Grant.

Indeed they did Miles! Erroll Flynn also played Jeb Stuart in "Santa Fe Trail". Thanks for stepping in on this 4th of July Weekend. Everyone stay Safe!

All were born on July 4th  :

Stephen Boyd     July 4, 1931

George Murphy  July 4, 1902
Eva Marie Saint  July 4, 1924
Gloria Stewart    July 4, 1910

Yes, they were all born on the fourth of July.  Gloria spelled her last name STUART after it originally was spelled STEWART.  She felt that if her first and last names had the same number of letters, it would line up better on movie marquees and posters.  Your turn, Kid.

They all portrayed college football players in the movies (Jerry Lewis in That's My Boy, Harold Lloyd in The Freshman, Peter Lawford in Good News and Ronald Reagan in Knute Rockne, All American)?
