HORROR MOVIE TRIVIA

Recommended Posts

This is a fun one--

The Ritz Bros paid thribute to 3 Horror stars by singing about them in a movie.

Since it wasn't a horror movie--that's not my question.

The question is: who were the 3 Horror Stars who were honored in song.

It's all or nothing, as Gloria Grahame sd somehwere.

Yes, in "One in a Million", The Ritz Bros sang about the "Horror Boys of Hollywood"--Karloff, Lorre and Laughton, yes, Laughton--must have been a contractual thing.

Close enough Metz, all yours--

This unique "horror" actress starred in two legendary films--during which half the time she is portrayed by an animal or not seen. Her love life was also legendary and allegedly included --George Gerswhin, while he was in Hollywood writing for Astaire.

Movie and actress please:

I arrived at the possible answers by research. I never saw either film; only the remake that was done in the 1980s. Both actresses had a short period of active participation in The Biz. Scrolling through their bios, I think Simon was probably the one referred to. Per the commentary, both films relied on dark screens and _imagined_ menace than on actual images.

*Cat People* --other than Val Lewton, Kent Smit, Jane Randolph and Simone Smon as Irinia, the stories really have little to do with each other. Simone is a ghost in *Curse of the Cat People*, she takes the form iof a panther in *Cat People* .
