Recommended Posts

Things are never as obvious as they seem--

ce n'est pas le film classique de RKO.

Does that answer your question?

Sorry to interrupt, but cujas your response puzzles me. Your original question about Simone Simon was name the *Actress* and the *Movie* That was done twice, once by flash and once by me. You did not ask about George Gershwin, you had already disclosed that info in your original question. So is *Cat People* with Simone Simon correct or are you thinking oif a different film, and what's the film ? Thanks.

Flash-gave me two names--I asked that 1 answer be given for consideration

then the answer given was the correct one

Since Flash was first, that member had the first choice.

As for Gershwin--that was the clue that made the answer undoubtedly Simone.

Okay, thanks, Sixes. Let's try this one. Identify the horror spoof that has this line:

"I have detention slips, here. And I'm not afraid to use them."

This horror spoof (which did have a high-school setting) was made into a TV series, which in turn spawned a spin-off into another series.

True dat. Context of the line: A HS Principal is using detention slips to threaten a group of vampires crashing a Senior Prom.

Sixes' thread.

"The Stepfather" ?....You know John List was buried next to his mother in Frankenmuth, MI, a tourist town near Saginaw . I think he grew up around the Frankenmuth-Bay City-Saginaw area...

I remembered him in that *Tarzan* film. Just needed to look up character name. Good one Mr.Skip.

A 60's rock and roll mega hit. Iconic horror movie actor was the inspiration for the song. The performer used the actor's first name as his middle name. A dance craze was happening among teenagers at that time and the song was part of the craze. Name of the song , actor who inspired it?

It sounds like "The Monster Mash" by Bobby "Boris" Pickett. He imitated Boris Karloff on the record. If I'm right the thread is open.

I love that movie (mostly because I have a crush on Evelyn Ankers)

Gregory Peck often mentioned that his earliest memory of film was a horror film. What was the film?
