Universal contract players

Speaking of Irene Hervey, several years ago Allan Jones (Irene's wife during the Big U days) gave me a VHS dub of a home video he shot at one of the Universal Jivin' Jacks and Jills reunion. All the contract players from the 40's and 50's would get together for a big party. Anyone know of any other studio gatherings that took place on a regular basis? The THIS IS THE ARMY veterans used to meet at Sardi's every couple of years until Alan Manson passed away.

I don't think David Manners was ever under contract. His Universal pics (all great) are DRACULA, THE MUMMY, THE BLACK CAT and THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD.
