cody1949
It was good to see THE KING STEPS OUT yesterday. On many occasions TCM has removed films that were previously announced. THE KING STEPS OUT was announced at least 4 years ago and did not appear until yesterday. Here's hoping they will do the same with : TOGETHER AGAIN , THIS THING CALLED LOVE , KISS AND TELL , NINE GIRLS , SHADOWS IN THE NIGHT , WHO KILLED GAIL PRESTON ? , FOG , MASTER OF MEN , and a number of Charles Starrett Durango Kid westerns. markfp2
This is old news. When they first started running the Columbia package, TCM had to remove certain Columbia titles from the schedules because Sony, the owner of the Columbia film library was unable to provide them with digital tapes of the films. There was nothing else TCM could do.I don't think it's been happening much lately.
