LonesomePolecat
This is the first I've heard of this! ...... This is so upsetting! What is this? Betty Garrett, then George Shearing, now Kenneth Mars? This has not been a good weekend. Here's the article I found. It's not even on imdb yet: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/young-frankenstein-actor-kenneth-mars-99482
Guest
Mars was also hilarious as the preening and hair-flipping musicologist trying for a foundation grant by competing with Ryan O'Neal in *What's Up, Doc?* I also remember him in a "straight" role in a little gem called *Desperate Characters* with Shirley MacLaine. redriver
I liked him on HE AND SHE. He enetered his neighbors apartment through the window. Who doesn't?
exapno
Kind of spooky that I read about his passing.....then turned on TCM...and then saw his cameo as the rabbi in *Radio Days*......

phroso
"Boy, ven things go wrong!" I can't believe I'm just finding about Kenneth Mars' passing, nearly two weeks after the fact. A brilliant character actor who had a talent for making everything sound quotable. RIP
