What Do These Four Films Have In Common

Recommended Posts

Okay, another clue:

Here are four more movies that have the same thing in common as the four I already listed. I hope this will serve as a helpful clue!

GRAND HOTEL (1932) - had to include at least one that's not as obscure as most of the rest of them!

I haven't even looked at this thread recently, but I think it's obvious, at least to me, that these movies each has a pair of siblings in the cast. I haven't looked at all of them, but John and Lionel Barrymore are in "Grand Hotel". Joan and Gloria Blondell are in "Model Wife", Bing and Bob Crosby are in "Road To Bali". I'm sure you can name them all, Musicalnovelty.

Yes, Miles, that's it!

Each of those movies has a pair of sibling actors (or actresses) in the casts, usually (but not always) one in a major role, and the other in a smaller role.

Here they all are:

LADY FOR A DAY (1933) - Guy and Milton Kibbee

KING FOR A NIGHT (1933) - Chester and Adrian Morris

MISS ANNIE ROONEY (1942) - William and Ed Gargan

WHISPERING FOOTSTEPS (1943) - Juanita and Rita Quigley

GRAND HOTEL (1932) - John and Lionel Barrymore

MODEL WIFE (1941) - Joan and Gloria Blondell

KILROY WAS HERE (1947) - Jackie and Robert Coogan

ROAD TO BALI (1952) - Bing and Bob Crosby

MIDSHIPMAN JACK (1933) - Arthur and Florence Lake

TOP OF THE TOWN (1937) - Hugh and Tom Herbert
