johnbabe
why is TCM showing this several times in the next months??????????/ it is set in current times (the 20's) and it certainly lacks the sentiment of the Dumas story (which is based on true characters) this silent version is on the flip side of the Camille in the Garbo signature box set..i have seen it once is enough! armand is played by valentino, he should have stayed playing shieks! anyway, it is not such a great film, i do not think it did well either at the box office. gagman66
I would like to see the 1926 version with Norma Talmadge and Gilbert Roland. For that matter, I would also like to see the 1923 version of ANNA CRISTIE with Blanch Sweet as well.
