sazball
I will be using a wheelchair for transport to and from all events. What is the protocol for pass-holders in wheelchairs?
TCMFilmFestival
Hi sazball, It is our goal to ensure all attendees have a safe and enjoyable experience at the TCM Classic Film Festival. The Grauman's Chinese Theatre, the Chinese Mulitplex, the Egyptian Theatre, and the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel are wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant venues. Additionally, we utilize a numbered queue system designed to help ensure that our guests enter the venues in an orderly and fair fashion. Those guests with special seating needs should notify the venue manager when they arrive at their desired event and get their queue number. Our venue managers are very experienced in managing large events and will make every effort to accommodate our guests with special seating needs in a manner that is equitable for all attendees and in compliance with local laws and regulations. In instances when the number of guests with wheelchairs or other seating needs exceeds the designated accessible spaces, venue managers will address these instances on a case by case basis. We look forward to seeing you in Hollywood! TCM Classic Film Festival
VDOVault
I noticed last year that one of the event staff even fetched a seat for one of my linemates using a cane (she had accidentally & unexpectedly broken a leg right before TCMFF 2010) for the screening of the 2010 restoration of Fritz Lang's Metropolis while we were still outside standing in line So if you are an attendee in a wheelchair, you shouldn't fret too much. We were well taken care of so thanks to last year's staff, kudos to them. Looking forward to this year's TCMFF

Adam002
I always suggest disability persons first do clearly when selecting a wheelchair, it is important to consult the physician. He can assist in locating a model that is suitable for the patient's specific requirement. I suggest mostly electric wheelchairs to most disability persons
