Kyle In Hollywood's CENSORED Ephemera Drawer

Recommended Posts

This is a good example of how advertising art usually reflects its era. The art for this 1980's reissue of a 1960's film reads way more 80's than 60's to me. Stick Billy Idol in that outfit and you've got a great album cover.

What a thoughtful surprise!

Of all the reasons to make the day notable, I think my birthday falls far below both Father's Day and "Bloomsday" on the "red-letter" scale. Still, it was very special to be celebrated in this way.

Thanks to you all!

I am so grateful to all who helped archive these wonderful threads. The hours of research and time that Kyle spent creating these classic moments on the TCM Message Boards will continue to be shared in a virtual world that he loved to inhabit.

Thank you.
