Kyle In Hollywood's CENSORED Ephemera Drawer

This is a good example of how advertising art usually reflects its era. The art for this 1980's reissue of a 1960's film reads way more 80's than 60's to me. Stick Billy Idol in that outfit and you've got a great album cover.

What a thoughtful surprise!

 

Of all the reasons to make the day notable, I think my birthday falls far below both Father's Day and "Bloomsday" on the "red-letter" scale. Still, it was very special to be celebrated in this way.
