Umberto D runs the gamut of emotions in the last 5 minutes of the film:
Ted Neely gave a passionate performance as Jesus in the 1973 film version of the Broadway musical Jesus Christ Superstar. I saw him perform this role 30 years later on stage with a touring revival of the show. Amazingly, he sounded exactly the same.
One of my very favorite scenes from one of my very favorite films!
The staircase scene from A Matter Of Life And Death:
My favorite scene from the wonderfully warped minds of Tim Burton and of Danny Elfman, who also happens to be the lead vocalist on this gem, The Remains Of The Day, from Corpse Bride.
Has there ever been a more moving scene without dialogue?
This could be fitting for either Mother's Day or Father's Day, but I think it's Irene Dunne who really makes the scene, so I'll go with Mother's Day.
