suemae
This is a wonderful movie, and one of my all time favorites. I wanted to post an answer to the gentleman name Ed Griggs who asked if anyone knew the name of the little african american boy in the musical. The young boy was 15 yr old Jerry Scott. I know because his information resides in the Historical Society within papers submitted by Fredi Washington, who was a contributing Enterntainment writer for the People's Voice, an African American newpaper started by Adam Clayton Powell, Jr in 1942-1948.. Ms. Washington, an african american was a brilliant actress in her own right, and one of two founding members of the Negro Actor's Guild.
