tcmviewer
I just looked at the April schedule and WOW. Thank you TCM! Obviously Hallmark and TCM finally came to terms because we have whole days dedicated to Laurel & Hardy and Charley Chase. Tons of other early comedies are showing throughout the month. Virtually every major comic star, duo, or team is featured in April. TCMProgrammer, thank you for all that you did to pull this off. I know it must have been a lot of work, and it is appreciated. maskedmala
April will be the best month in a long, long, very long time from TCM. Maybe those great B-movie series (Boston ****, Ellery Queen, Crime Doctor, Lone Wolf, Joe Palooka, Bomba the jungle Boy, Michael Shayne...) have a chance to be shown on TCM after all. Thanks for a great month to come

KeithFromKC
Whole days dedicated to Charley Chase and Laurel & Hardy!! That is awesome! Can't wait to put those on tape. I also look forward to the other early comedies that will air in April. There are so many great comedies from early Hollywood that I have wanted to see on TCM. Great job, TCM! bhryun
Hello, I am new to the TCM discussion group, but had to join when I saw that the April schedule included these wonderful Laurel and Hardy films. I was wondering if anyone knows if TCM will be broadcasting newly restored prints or not. I also understand that Hallmark is releasing a second L&H volume on DVD in March. Does anyone have any information about this new release, as well? I know that Hallmark didn't do any restoration for the first DVD volume and the quality wasn't very good. I currently have all the L&H sound shorts and features on VHS, but would love to get them on DVD, as long as the quality is superior. Thank you for any information that TCM members can provide.
