Was reading about this French concept on a Noir Board someplace. Its basically Film Noir concepts and style but in films shot almost entierly during the day. It would be a good way to seperate them out;

Off the top of my head obvious candidates would be:

Ace in the Hole

Detour (maybe, seem to remember a lot of desert scenes)

The Lineup

The Hitch-Hiker

Jeopardy

The Big Steal
