joefilmone
It's an illustrated memoir by Jim Danforth available on CD from Archive Editions. This first volume covers his fx work on such films as " Jack the Giant Killer", "The 7 Faces of Dr Lao" and "When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth" for which he received an Oscar nomination. I wish the "book" was available in actual print form but it's worth getting if you are interested in special effect and stop motion animation. DougieB
Sounds good. I love "When Dionosaurs Ruled The Earth". When TCM showed "Prehistoric Women" recently, I was glad to see it but found myself wishing they'd picked "Dinosaurs" instead, if they were going the scantily-clad ex-Playboy-centerfold route. The effects were way better than you'd expect.
megawolf
I was hoping TCM would run Gorgo..at least the big gal wins...
