This forum has some impressive answers for people searching for movie titles, so I thought I'd try the one that's driving me nuts. :-) I saw this movie in the '60s when I was a little girl. It was in B&W, and the premise was that this young woman had come back to the house where, when she was a child, she hid under the bed as a whole family was murdered. She's now engaged to the last surviving member of the family. She can't remember anything about the murder scene, but she freaks out every time she goes into the attic and sees this ragged curtain blowing in the breeze. (That's the part that used to scare me to death when I was little.) I think it turns out that the gardener or caretaker was responsible for the murders.
