VintageMotelGuest
I fell in love with the films by Andrew L. Stone -- and his wife -- especially the noirish Steel Trap (which was just on TCM the other night) and Cry Terror. Great, tight little low budget films with edge-of-your-seat plots. I also like his location shooting and cimematography, since his films come from such a great period, culturally, as did many of the great-but-low-budget noirs of the forties, fifties, and (rare) sixties. I mean I really love seeing L.A. or any town from that period as they really were. I'm sure he's been discussed here at some point in the past, but if anyone knows more about this guy and whether Steel Trap is slated for release on DVD at any time, please let me know.
