filmfashions345 Posted February 17, 2005 Share Posted February 17, 2005 I was absolutely blown away to find "The Private Affairs of Bel Ami" so powerful, much due I'm sure to the symbolism prevalent in every scene. Yet, there were some aspects I didn't understand. For instance, is it just me or do Katherine Emery's formerly raven locks look stark white in the final scene. What does this mean?
