Bud_R
Why was " The Best Years of Our Lives" left out of the Oscar Month this year? WHY? It was a great film and one that I look foward to watching every year at this time. It seemed to define post war life. There were great actors in it and it was very nostalgic. It won 7 academy awards(?). I guess you can't show them all, but this is probably one of my 5 top films ever and I am disappointed. Hopefully I"ll be able to see it next year. lzcutter
Every year the *31 Days* month has a theme to it and that theme usually helps dictate which films are scheduled. *The Best Years of Our Lives* runs on TCM fairly regularly so even if it's not part of the February schedule, it's likely to be on the schedule in the months ahead. smileys
It was shown in Oscar Month 2007 and 2008, then 2010 and 2011. Soooo, it should make its return next February.

DownGoesFrazier
It's a very long film. Could it be that they had trouble fitting it into the schedule?
