ClassicEra
I was just wondering if anyone knew if TCM would be showing this movie. I've wanted to see if for a very long time, but I've been checking for months and it's never on. Is it possible to find it somewhere else?
deadendkid
TCM is the only place I've ever seen it shown. They've played it a couple times. A 'B' for sure, but I think it's pretty decent. Pat O'Brien and Joan Blondell get top billing, but it's definitely a starring vehicle for Bobby Jordan. Keep checking the schedule. It may turn up! musicalnovelty
> {quote:title=deadendkid wrote: > }{quote}...it's definitely a starring vehicle for Bobby Jordan. Speaking of Bobby Jordan, I just saw a couple of days ago his last appearance, in a 1961 "Bonanza" episode. He was billing himself as Robert Jordan by then. Arturo
If I'm not mistaken, TCM showed this about a month or two ago.
ClassicEra
Thank you so much for all the help and info. everyone! And since we're on the subject of Bobby Jordan, has his other film "Reformatory" with Jack Holt ever been on TCM?
deadendkid
Reformatory is considered a lost film. So is his 1940 version of Military Academy, both Columbia features. I've been searching for both for quite some time. If you ever run across either, please say so!
ClassicEra
Aw, that's a shame. It's sad when any movie's lost. But yes, if I ever do happen to find it I'll let you know.
