One tough fight.

The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (my favorite Bogart movie) sure has one brutal fight-where Dobbs and Curtin get their money from Cody. I'm surprised it got past the censors, with Cody on the floor, quavering, and so beat up he can't see. But the toughest fight I ever saw was in a little-remembered Robert Aldrich movie Emperor of the North, between Ernest Borgnine and Lee Marvin. Punches, kicks, elbows, chains, sledge hammers, axes, with Borgie ending up pushed over the side of a low-boy on a trestle over a river:
