Guest
When TCM aired Gloria Swanson's *The Trespasser* a while back, I looked up co-star Robert Ames, an actor who died in 1931. TCM lists in Robert Ames' filmography *Ziegfeld Follies* (1945) and *An American in Paris* (1951). Obvioulsy a different Robert Ames. I've sent a correction notice twice (they ask for help with their database) but nothing has changed. TCM used to list 2 filmographies for John Gilbert: one under John and another under Jack. It took nearly a year for them to combine the credits into one filmography. And while I'm at it. Why do so few silent stars get a picture posted with their biographies? No image available. For Gloria Swanson? Really? TCM should hire some of us to help clean up their database. It could be done from home.
BetteDavis19
I wouldn't mind doing that job! I know what you mean, I uploaded information for Bette Davis about four months ago, because on her page they got something wrong, and I haven't gotten any word about it and nothing has changed. But they're so busy, I just don't bother them about it!
DownGoesFrazier
Obviously, the same staffers who write RO's intros also handle this.
